Online Registration

You can register Sa un SIM card online using the app and official portal. However, the process of registration is the same. Here is how to do it:

First of all, go to the Sun SIM official portal by clicking on the registration link given below. It will lead you to the Smart Sim Communications Portal.

On the homepage, you will get a box to enter your mobile number. Enter your mobile number. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, and click on send OTP.
You will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Enter the OTP in the box and click on verify OTP. For wifi users, the instructions are given on the homepage to get the OTP.

Select the Type you want to register your Sun SIM.
Now, enter all the required details. The details include:

Nationallity
ID Type
ID Number
First Name
Legal Middle Name (If you have)

Upload a clear Photo of your ID and scan your face for verification purposes.

Review all the information and ensure its accuracy. Check the box to agree with pricey and policy.
Once done, submit the registration by clicking on the submit button.
On the successful registration and activation, you will receive a notification that “You have successfully registered your SIM”. The notification contains a reference number. Save the reference number for future use.

Note: The process of registration via the app is almost the same. Just download the smart app, create your account, and repeat the above steps.

Register Via SMS

You can also register your SIM card using the registration number. Here is how to do it:

Open the message app, type “REG” and send it to 5858.
In reply, you will be asked to provide the following details:

Full name
Date of birth
Complete address
Valid ID number (e.g., passport, driver’s license, etc.)

Provide all the details accurately and carefully.
Once the application is processed, you will receive a confirmation method.

You can also register your GOMO SIM via SMS. Don’t worry about the GOMO SIM registration process for 2025. Simply click for GOMO SIM registration and follow the easy steps!

Register SIM at Stores

If you want an in-person guide to register your SIM, visit your nearest Sun/Smart store. Bring all the required documents along with you. Ask the attendant for SIM registration. The attendant will guide you and help you to register your SIM card.

Tip: Always provide accurate information. Make sure that all your documents are valid and up-to-date. Your application will be rejected in case of invalid documents and information.

Note: The SIM registration for active users was July 25, 2023. Now you can not register the old SIM purchased before the SIM Registration ACT. However, the new Sims can be registered anytime.

Filipino citizens must have the following information:

Foreign nationals must submit the following documents and personal details:

Valid passport (bio-page and visa pages)

Personal details: full name, nationality, passport number, Philippine address
